1. Who we are

HireLens AI ("we", "us") provides a CV optimisation platform. This policy is maintained by HireLens AI and describes how we handle personal data for users in the United Kingdom and elsewhere.

2. Data we process

Account data: email address and authentication identifiers.
CV content and job descriptions you submit for analysis.
Generated outputs: scores, feedback, rewrites and cover letters.
Usage metadata: timestamps, request counts, and error logs for cost control and abuse prevention.
Payment metadata from our payment processor (we do not store card numbers).

3. AI processing

Your CV and job description are processed using third-party AI models in order to generate scores and feedback. Submissions are temporarily stored to deliver and improve the service and to prevent abuse. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your CV content to train third-party models beyond what is strictly required to return your result.

4. Data protection & privacy compliance

UK users: compliant with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
EU users: compliant with EU GDPR (Regulation 2016/679).
US users: compliant with applicable US state privacy laws including the CCPA (California).
Australian users: compliant with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
All other users: we apply GDPR-standard data protection practices globally.

We process personal data on the basis of (a) performance of a contract (delivering the analysis you requested), (b) legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), and (c) consent where required (analytics cookies).

5. Retention

Analyses and generated outputs are retained while your account is active so you can revisit them. You can delete individual analyses or your entire account from the Account page; on account deletion we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Sharing

We share data with infrastructure, authentication, AI and payment subprocessors strictly to operate the service. We do not sell personal data.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights contact contact@adwancapital.co.uk.

8. No guarantee of outcome

HireLens AI provides feedback to help you improve your applications. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers or any specific hiring outcome.
